PRELIMINARY NOTES

Log or Lumber Construction

You have the choice of building with logs or commercial
lumber. Logs being less expensive (if you have a stand of
suitable trees to spare and you're felling them yourself)
and more aesthetic; whereas lumber requires less labor.
In either case the exposed timbers in the interior are
quite impressive.

Line

Easy to Build

Using the methods shown in our building manual (plans
and specifications geared to the layman), one person with
minimal carpentry skills can build any size Pyramodule™
from 8 weeks (at 48 hrs/wk) for a 14'x14' module to
11 weeks (at 48 hrs/wk) for a 20'x20' module! (Note:
two people are required for certain procedures for the
20x20 module, taking less than 5 hours to accomplish.)

Line

Low Cost

The PyramoduleTM is more cost effective than any other
known structure insofar as what you get out of the amount
of material used (which, in turn, saves labor as well)!
Nothing is wasted. In a conventional structure, for
example, the roof overhang's main use is to offer some
protection from the elements (i.e. keeping rain off the
windows and providing shade).

The PyramoduleTM utilizes that material [of the soffit or
overhang], extends it down a bit further, and by joining
the outer edge of the soffit to the perimeter of the floor
[creating a lower angular wall], kills SIX birds with
one stone(!): creating more interior spacial functionality,
aerodynamic structural value [in terms of wind shear],
interior "visual relief" from the sense of feeling otherwise
closed-in by stark vertical walls, aesthetic value, and
saves money by virtually zero wastage of material,
therefore providing optimal efficiency in labor to boot!
(Note: our newvideo of the unfinished and finished interior will
demonstrate the feasibility of all that's being claimed here.)

Also, informed consumers will realize that the kind of
product we're offering (plans and building manual) is unique
and therefore, in terms of price, superior to anything else
like it on the market. For example, the average set of
[trade-oriented] architectural plans can run from $300
to $700 and more, which incidentally are not useful to
the lay or amateur builder. Our lower prices are optimally
set for the market, being targeted to the do-it-yourself
owner-builder, among whose main motives is to save money.
Also, we worked diligently to ensure that our plan packages
are thorough and easy to follow, as well as meet or exceed
the structural standards in the building industry.
